Nite: A Get-Healthy Get-Together in
North Long Beach

Friday, July 27, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
At LBPD North Division Substation
Long Beach, CA
– North Long Beach-area residents are invited to get together and Unite The
Nite with a wide range of friends, neighbors, businesses, organizations and
city personnel for an evening of music, games, food, activities and fun---all
of it focused upon building a healthy community, one healthier person at a
time.
Unite The Nite, conceived and organized by the We Union team of
volunteers from the Neighborhood Leadership Program, funded by a grant by Union
Bank and donations of money and services from all over Long Beach, will be held
at the Long Beach Police Department’s North Division Substation (4891 Atlantic
Ave) on Friday, July 27, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Local radio stations will provide the soundtrack to activities and
opportunities ranging from a Bicycle Rodeo provided by Safe Moves to health
screenings offered by the Lion’s Club to a variety of healthy snacks from Whole
Foods to informational displays by the Long Beach Fire Department and the Red
Cross to yoga to Zumba to more, more more!
Additionally, businesses located along the Atlantic Avenue
Corridor are invited to set up tables to meet the community.
